2022 FOOTBALL CAMPS

Spring/Summer

We here, at DFL, are keeping our eyes open for any and all spring or summer training camps that may come available prior to the start of the 2022 season in August. Below we will provide a description and link to the camps as we find them. If you find any not listed please feel free to drop us a line so we can include it.
Special Note: We are fully interested in further developing the abilities and personal growth of each and every child in our care. As such, we are willing to provide the necessary equipment for all of our 2022 registered players so that they may attend any football camps they desire.

Grades 6-12 Sunday, July 10 thru  Wednesday, July 13  

Evening Camp 5:30pm-8:00pm **This is not an overnight camp**

Cost

$225 - This includes a week of football instruction and free camp t-shirt.
This amount includes a $50 non-refundable administrative fee.

Camp Format

Grades 6-9 will practice separately from grades 10-12.
Each camper will be instructed for one hour on offense skills and one hour on defense skills each day.

Kicking Period: 5:30-6:00pm
Instructional Periods: 6:00-8:00pm

Equipment

Campers must supply their own approved helmet, shoulder pads, pants, football shoes, and mouth guard.
UNH is unable to supply campers with equipment due to NCAA regulations.

Insurance and Medical Staff

Wildcat Football Camp will have insurance available to be used after parental insurance has been exhausted.

There will be a certified athletic trainer in attendance before, after, and during all practice sessions.

TSUNAMI CAMP IS ON!! SEE HOME PAGE FOR DETAILS AND REGISTRATION IS THROUGH DFL REGISTRATION SITE. CAMP IS STILL A DOVER HIGH SCHOOL RUN EVENT, WE TOOK A SHARE OF THE WORK OFF THEIR SHOULDERS SO THE COACHES COULD FOCUS ON THE RUNNING OF THE CAMP!!

Location: UMass-Lowell 

  • Camp/Dates: Passing, Receiving, and DB Academy: July 14 - 16, 2022 UMass-Lowell, Lowell, MA
    • Accommodations and Meals at UMass-Lowell  All-you-can-eat meals will be provided to all participants. The overnight campers will stay in the dormitories on campus with a maximum of two campers to a room. Each dorm will consist of two twin beds, two chairs, two dressers, and two closets. Football practices will take place at Grappone Stadium and their practice fields, located close to the dorms.
  • Camp/Dates: Half-Day Specialty Clinic: July 16, 2022 UMass-Lowell, Lowell, MA
    • The pre-Academy Half-Day Specialty Clinic will have elite training instructors featuring hand selected football coaches on staff. The purpose of the )aMG-Day Specialty Clinic is to give each athlete an opportunity to receive focused, intense position-specific technique training prior to the start of the academy. There will be an 8:1 player to coach ratio. This concentrated training session will help each participant have a more positive, productive academy experience. Clinic athletes range from age 7 to 18 with instructional squads being separated by age group and skill level to make sure proper instruction is given to each participant. 
  • Camp/Dates: Max Lane Lineman AcademyJuly 14– 16, 2022 UMass—Lowell, Lowell, MA
    • Lineman Academy Features • Daily instruction by top offensive and defensive lineman instructors with emphasis on: Fundamentals, Quickness, Speed & Agility, Alignment, Legal Use of Hands, Correct Position & Control, Footwork, Stance and Start, Mental and Physical Preparation, Proper Training and Conditioning. • Participants are also taught about understanding the importance of academic grades for college recruitment and scholarship opportunities, as well as the NCAA rules and regulations. • With no other position distractions, the Lineman Academy specializes in organization and instruction with selected coaching personnel who possess teaching qualities that benefit the development of the offensive and defensive lineman. • The Lineman Academy will emphasize basic fundamentals necessary to be successful in the game’s most important area, the trenches.

  • Football For You - Patriots Alumni Camps
    • The unique 2-hour, non-contact free clinic stresses leadership, teamwork, and commitment to over 200 young athletes (ages 9-14). Each participant will rotate through (6) 15 minute stations which all represent a position on the field. Each clinic is coached by Patriot Alumni in conjunction with local high school staffs. Returning this year for parents and guardians are (3) optional 15 minute information sessions that will address ‘The way you win matters’, sportsmanship, and nutrition education.

St. Thomas Aquinas Saints Football Camp

“One day instruction in football fundamentals”

The St. Thomas Aquinas Football Program is offering a free, non-contact camp for players ages 10-15 on Wednesday, August 3rd, from 4:00 – 6:30 pm on Our Lady of Victory Stadium. Area players are welcome to attend by registering at emcdonough@stalux.org.

4:00 – 5:15 Defense: Run to the Ball Clinic. Special emphasis placed on block destruction,

leverage on ball, and tackling

Skill Progression

  • Pre-Contact Prep- emphasis on core/shoulder development
  • Movement Drills (emphasis on proper body position to initiate contact
  • Block Destruction
  • Tackling Fundamentals
  • Combination Drills (movement/tackle)

5:25 – 6:30 Offense: Fundamentals Special emphasis placed on stances, starts,

blocking and ball drills

Who? Seacoast Area Football Players ages 10 -15

What? Instruction in Defense and Offense Fundamentals

When? Wednesday, August 3rd. 4:00 - 6:30 pm (Rain or Shine)

Where? St. Thomas Aquinas Campus, Our Lady of Victory Stadium

Cost? Free to all participants

Wear? Shorts, T-shirt, athletic shoes (cleats)

Bring? Own water bottle
